Training on Risk Profiling to Enhance Interception of Illegal Wildlife Trade
USAID Wildlife Asia will will collaborate with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) on a series of capacity building events focusing on strengthening customs authorities’ ability to detect, investigate and develop wildlife trafficking cases for successful prosecution. The UNODC will develop the curriculum and provide trainers/facilitators for these courses based upon identified needs and tapping into existing expertise already in place. USAID Wildlife Asia will coordinate and facilitate the training workshops as well as provide relevant expertise and trainers.
