The RRG was first launched in March 2019 and revised late last year to accommodate updates in one of the main laws included in the guide, namely the Wildlife Conservation and Protection Act B.E.2562. Given the importance of this tool in helping wildlife crime investigators and prosecutors build strong cases in court and bring criminals to justice, the purpose of this provincial level workshop is to focus on wildlife trafficking hotspots such as the north of Thailand due to its borders with Lao and Myanmar.
